How you look at life.

Work, home, leisure, your significant other, kids, boss, clients, friends, others….

Seems to me that life, real life, is all in the perspective you take and the view you choose to interpret.

My sense is that we often don’t stop to take perspective – we let things happen, we react, we pursue solutions based on face value, we don’t scratch the surface of possibility – because we don’t have perspective.

Without perspective we make mistakes – and big ones at that. See – if you act without perspective you can be solving for an “X” that is really in another universe – but you have no clue – no perspective. Ergo, your solution is meaningless and irrelevant.

Try this. Take any situation that you find yourself in and look for the perspective.

Examine your thinking from all the angles that present themselves and see if you land in a new place – one that you might not have found – or that wasn’t obvious beforehand in the unidimensional world.

“Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Give a fish a man, and he’ll eat for weeks!”

View the same thought from a different perspective and the entire situation changes – in this case the fish wins….think on that!!

Would you rather eat for a day or for weeks…?

What do you think?
