Chances are you have once asked someone to review your efforts or check an idea you had or validate a thought because you were “too close to the work.” If you haven’t, there is a good chance someone asked you to be the dispassionate voice of distance for their labors.

The Other Hand
Some people believe that there is always one answer to every problem; one solution to every dilemma; one resolution to every issue.
- Normally, I would call that 'some people' in two ways: 'narrow people' or 'people which have principles'. Could we think of a person having the principle of looking for alternatives? Holiday Thought
First, with so many of our friends and colleagues celebrating holidays this past weekend, I hope that they and their families all had wonderful and meaningful celebrations. In keeping with that spirit, I thought another run at leadership might be appropriate seeing as how much that subject is intertwined with the notion of the day.
